Pre Conference Program - The Red Centre - SOLD OUT

27 April - 4 May, 2022

Considered the spiritual heart of Australia, the Uluru region is home to two of Australia's most famous rock formations, a mighty canyon and an ancient indigenous culture rich in story, dance and art.  Get ready to be blown away by World Heritage-listed natural wonders, iconic wildlife and the red dirt of the Australian Outback.

Feel inspired by the soaring sandstone walls of Kings Canyon. Scale the towering canyon to catch the sunrise across Watarrka National Park in the Northern Territory.  Watarrka National Park covers 71,000 hectares and has been home to the Luritja Aboriginal people for more than 20,000 years. Learn about their role in shaping the area and the more than 600 species of native plants and animals that live here.

Stunning landscapes, remote communities and a unique pioneering history create a diverse and exhilarating destination to explore. A thriving, spirited outback centre, Alice Springs is as famous for the personality of its locals and contemporary and traditional art as the natural wonders, including the stunning Larapinta Trail and the MacDonnell Ranges, which surround it.
