Athens is considered the historical capital of Europe and the birthplace of democracy, arts, science and philosophy of western civilization. The ancient Acropolis dominates the city and is a constant reminder of its glorious history during the past 2,500 years. Our chosen luxury hotel offers us an unrivalled perspective of Athens' mythical history, boasting breathtaking views of the Acropolis from its privileged position on Syntagma Square, perfect for exploring everything Athens has to offer.

For the second half of the main program we head to Greece’s most beautiful region of the Peloponnese. Costa Navarino is one of Europe’s newest luxury resorts, sited on the unspoilt western coast where sandy beaches and historical sites abound. While the resort has a multitude of attractions to entertain you, there will be an opportunity to explore nearby the Greek cities from antiquity, medieval Venetian castles, quaint seaside villages and the famous Kalamata olive groves.

To complete your Greek travel experience we have formulated a Pre tour of Crete and Post tour options of a luxury Seabourn cruise or a stay on the most famous of Greek islands, Mykonos.

Crete is a diverse and vibrant island packed with ancient ruins, historical sights and dazzling coastlines where you can be assured of a very warm welcome from its hospitable people. Our time will be split between the eastern beach resort of Elounda and the western Venetian town of Rethymno with ample time to see the best of this fascinating island.

The undoubted rigours of the conference program invariably require some recuperation time so we have once again offered a Post tour cruise on the Seabourn Encore spending 11 days cruising between Malta and Sicily in the west and to the popular islands of the Aegean in the east. Cabins are unfortunately limited so you will need to be quick in making your booking for this indulgent relaxing cruise.

For those seeking more action, we are also providing an alternate Post tour to the Greece’s party island of Mykonos. Its image is one of white washed houses, blue domed churches and traditional sailed windmills, but the action resides in the award winning restaurants, elegant bars and beautiful boutiques. The beach parties and vivid nightlife is legendary and attracts not only the young to join in the fun.

However the main purpose of this conference is to provide an intense practical array of therapeutic education bound to have you more knowledgeable and enthusiastic when you return to your pharmacy practice.  Our highly performed faculty of speakers is led by Prof. Peter Carroll and Dr. Shane Jackson and sees the return of the popular Shane Hamblin and Bruce Annabel.
