Now in its 49^th year, the annual PSA Offshore Refresher Conference continues to be Australia’s most successful and comprehensive therapeutic education event for pharmacists. It has earned this reputation by consistently delivering up to 50 hours of the highest quality education with expert content and practical relevance from our specialist faculty of speakers.

The Organising Committee has decided to select Vietnam as our venue in 2025, being closer to home than other recent venues and therefore providing more affordable travel options for attendees. We hope this will prove more attractive to our younger PSA members and encourage them to experience this special event.

Our conference itinerary has selected the essential highlights for any visit to Vietnam, starting with the Pre tour to Hanoi and Halong Bay. Considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful natural wonders, Halong Bay has over 1,600 towering limestone islets dotted throughout an emerald sea waiting for you to explore. Hanoi is a city layered in history from its centuries of influence from Chinese and French occupation. However today it remains proudly Vietnamese and a buzzing hub of culture, history and tantalising cuisine for you to enjoy.

To experience the true authentic Vietnam, we have selected the traditional town of Hoi An to start our main conference program. Beautifully preserved, this ancient town has much to excite and explore with a rich culture formally recognised as a UNESCO Heritage site  The second half of the main program will be completed in the former capital of South Vietnam, Saigon, or now, Ho Chi Minh City, the site of the last battle which brought an end to the Vietnam war exactly 50 years ago. Here you will now find a free wheeling cosmopolitan metropolis which draws together the old and new Vietnam within a dynamic cityscape.
