Ulaanbaatar, the capital and largest city of Mongolia, is a fascinating place with a rich history and unique characteristics. It is located in north-central Mongolia at an elevation of about 1,300 meters (4,300 feet) in a valley on the Tuul River. The city has a population of approximately 1.6 million people and is known for being the coldest capital city in the world by average yearly temperature.

Visiting Terelj National Park in Mongolia is a truly enchanting experience. Located just 70 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar, it's easily accessible and offers a variety of activities and stunning landscapes. The park is known for its picturesque rolling hills, dotted with evergreen forests and massive grey boulders.  The unique rock formations, shaped over time by wind and weather, resemble nature’s sculptures and set the scene for our adventure.
